Sigma Africa Healthcare Program

Sigma Pharmaceutical Company has donated brand new medical supplies worth £82, 860 which was shipped  to Uganda on Saturday 25th. Jan 2020. We would like to thank the directors, employees and Sigma family for partnering with us to save the lives of disadvantaged people in Northern Uganda.

We would like also to thank Mr Kirti Shah  so much for arranging the donations of medical supplies from Sigma Pharmaceutical company.   This has come at a perfect time because of the great need for medical supplies in the rural hospital and health centres we are providing in Northern Uganda. The donations from Sigma Pharmaceuticals Company will be properly utilised to provide essential quality healthcare for the less privileged people through our medical store in Lira district, Adwir Rural  community hospital in Alebtong district, Alemere Medical Aid Community Health Centre in Amolatar district and Abako Elim Community Health Centre in Alebtong district northern Uganda. We are looking forward to establish long term partnership with Sigma Independent Together to save the lives of underprivileged people in Uganda and Africa.

We were honoured and humbled to have the Conservative MP Hon. Dean Russell  of Watford who gave his time to help in the loading of the container. The container was loaded in two hours and this was because of the help we received from Sigma staff team, together with volunteers from Shishukunj Harrow. The atmosphere was filled with the desire and willingness to support humanitarian course.

We would like to thank our partner Christian African Relief Trust for donating £5,865 to pay for the transportation of the container to Uganda. We would like also  to thank our Uganda partners Medical Aid Uganda and All Nations Christian Care would agreed to clear the container through customs, pay for storage and container transportation of £2,500  from Kampala to Lira.

On behalf of the people in Uganda thank you all.
