Essential Healthcare  for  Underprivileged Children in Uganda (DONATE)

At Medaid UK we’re raising funds and promoting initiatives to save the lives of disadvantaged children  who need essential healthcare services and clean water. Our vision is to setup central medical store, health centres and hospitals in remote villages where healthcare services are not available. Our work in Uganda has been succesfull because of the support, collabroation and partnership received from other UK charities, International Charities,  government of Uganda through Ministry of Health, Ministry of Finance, National Drug Authority and other Uganda government ministries.

CHILDREN OF THE NATION

Children of the Nations® (COTN®) is a Christian nonprofit dedicated to raising children out of poverty and hopelessness so they can become leaders who transform their nations. The organization currently provides care to orphaned and destitute children in Sierra Leone, Malawi, Uganda, the Dominican Republic, and Haiti. By partnering with local people, they establish Children’s Homes (for orphans) and Village Partnership Programs (to benefit orphans and children living with destitute families or caregivers who cannot properly provide for them). COTN believes true, lasting, and meaningful change to a nation begins with children, so they are their mission. For more information, visit cotni.org.

COTN is working in partnership with Medaid United Kingdom to save lives of children in Uganda by providing quality and essential healthcare services to underprivileged children. We are so grateful for the donation of medical supplies which is being shipped to provide quality healthcare through Alemere Medical Aid Uganda Children and Maternity Health Centre, Amolatar District Northern Uganda. Dave, Chris, Trustees and Supporters of COTN thank you so much for your support. On behalf of the Children in Need in Uganda thank you so much  for your support and donations. We pray God’s blessing to you all Amen.

EDUCATION FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN

Working for a Better Tomorrow

Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. Medaid UK emerged out of a pursuit to inspire,  support and transform the lives of disadvantaged children, and a desire for actions which speak louder than words. Established in 2005, we’re a UK registered charity driven by progressive ideas, bold actions, and a strong foundation of support to local initiatives  and partnership.

Our Vision is to inspire the education of underprivileged children for them to be inquisitive, reflective and independent learners. We aim to set up Educational Resource Centres with Science Laboratory Facilities for children to enjoy learning of science, Library Facilities to provide reference textbooks,  ICT Facilities for students to access online learning resources, Printing Facilities for rural schools to print teaching & learning resources and assessment materials, Vocational Teaching Resources to train youth, refugees, girls, orphans and women with practical skills that will enable them to find employment, create employment and be self sustainable.

If you want 1 year of prosperity, grow grain. If you want 10 years of prosperity, grow trees. If you want 100 years of prosperity, grow people.
